Immanuel Christian School has been recognized for two years as a benefit to the community through the "Pride of Place" award presented by the Chamber of Commerce for city of Hazleton. It is our desire to continue this interaction with the community by keeping our grounds well kept, and through events such as our Fall Auction, Open Houses, Christmas Caroling and Neighborhood Spring Clean-up. Our Thrift Store also provides community involvement while also serving the school.
At the same time, we are working to create a community within the families served by ICS. Besides the building the Auxillary, we also have various yearly programs, class field trips, and weekly chapels that provide opportunities for families to interact with each other.
